I had the most fun day in my local happy place of Soul Haven, photographing yoga and pilates classes and headshots of the amazing teachers there. The connection and community at this place is something else.

There is something special about in home family photos. It seems that it is more popular choice for newborn sessions to be at home compared to whole family sessions, but there is something incredibly personal and unique about photos taken in your home or on your property. Firstly, this is where the real essense of your family is. It doesn't have to be perfect or have to be clean. It is about capturing you in your safe place, that has your style, your voice, your memories. K

One year after photographing Kat and Mitch's wedding I was thrilled to be invited to their home to photograph their beautiful newborn baby boy, Hamish. He was just adorably cute and Kat and Mitch were rightly so, smitten. Their fur babies were right there beside them and would join the spot light whenever they could.;-) Welcome to the world Hamish!!
